BRIEF DESCRIPTION: Marshal Ney charging at the head of the French Cuirassiers, charges against the British, Dutch and Belgian Squares. Of all Napoleon's Generals at Waterloo none distinguished himself more than Marshal Ney, Prince of the Moskowa, the splendid warrior upon whom his Imperial master had conferred the proud title of 'Le Brave des Braves' (The Bravest of the Brave). Three times he led the attack on the British center, first at the head of D'Elron's Ist Corps, then with the Reserve Heavy Cavalry and finally with Napoleon's Old Guard. He only retired from the field at nightfall, after five horses had been killed under him.
"I have a BA and MA in History and agreat admirer of Napoleonic history and your artwork is truly realistic. I put you right up there with Edouard Detaille and this piece will hang right next to one of his. I have several of your prints, and think your website is the greatest, especially for custom work such as you are doing for me with the remarque. I thank you once more and hope to do more business with you in the near future." Capt M. STEFANISH.
